In the lead up to the Coronation celebrations Cllr. Andy Stranack (Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture) has been meeting with Faith Leaders from across Croydon to highlight the amazing work they do to help and encourage communities across the Borough.
On Saturday 29th April Andy joined Mayor Jason Perry and Cllr Ola Kolade (Cabinet Member for Community Safety) at Shiloh Worship Centre, Thornton Heath for a Church Leaders Breakfast where we heard from Les Issac about the history and work of Street Pastors. Then on Tuesday 2nd May Andy and Jason meet with faith leaders from across Croydon at their regular quarterly Mayoral briefings.
On Sunday 7th May Andy joined with Forestdale Church and Forestdale Resident Association at the Forestdale Forum as they organised a community funday to celebrate the Kings Coronation. Finally on Bank holiday Andy joined with Mayor Perry and all faith communities across Croydon at the Faith Togethers Picnic.
