Today I was shown around Littleheath Woods by some of the volunteers and members of the Friends of group, together with one of the ward councillors, Cllr Robert Ward.
This is such a beautiful spot, and I really enjoyed seeing the beauty of the woods and green spaces in person. We discussed a number of issues and concerns, including the grass cutting schedule. This is an area I want to get organised, I would like the schedule to be as transparent as possible. The group have a number of memorial benches, and bird table area, it is fantastic how they have linked the community to an area they are clearly passionate about.
I will of course continue to work with the group, and try to reinstall the trust which has been neglected by the previous Labour administration.
