Croydon Council is seeking residents views on plans to trial a Healthy School Street around St Peters Primary School in Normanton road and Coombe Wood School in Melville Ave.
The aim of the scheme is to help pupils have safer healthier journeys to school and to help local residents who live near the school who suffer from congestion noise and pollution
Residents who live in these streets will be able to apply for a free exemption permit.
Like all schemes it will have advantages and disadvantages for local residents so please respond to the consultation and let the Council hear you views.
