Riddlesdown Road Resurfacing

Riddlesdown Road pot holes

After bone-shaking driving and watching other motorists weave around the pot holes on Riddlesdown Road opposite the Conway site near Brighton Road, I am pleased to report the following response from officers:

"have inspected site at the mentioned location and confirm the carriageway will benefit from localised surfacing.

We have identified a substantial area of carriageway to be repaired equating to 247m2, covering the worse parts thus meeting the councils repair criteria.  This will require a S58 notice and planned in with a completion target date of 14/04/22.

In the meantime we will monitor the location and carry out any necessary make safes to the carriageway required."
