Rotary Field Playground Surface Repairs

The saga of very slowly upgrading the playground at Rotary Field continues. We recently got excited when the resurfacing took place a few weeks ago, only to find that the budget and job specification had been cut back so far that it really was a case of just filling in a few gaps with some larger areas left unsafe. It would be fair to say that I wasn't too happy and shared that with Council officers.

I have received an update that, "the remaining safety surface repairs will take place next week with as minimal disruptions as possible...[including]... some further works as well as the basket swing surfacing.'

Here's hoping it's less of a bodge than last time!
