It has been good to see the continued restoration of the former Public House The Rail View on Selsdon road. it had been left to decay for five years after the illegal attempt to demolish it by the former owners.
A retrospective planning application 21/05845/FUL for a change of use to offices with storage has been lodged with the Council. The building has been bought by Evergreen Power Ltd a heating and insulation company as their headquarters. This company had formerly rented premises at the Capital Business Park on Carlton road. The proposal intends its use to be for a calling centre for 12 employees with some parking and storage at the back.
