All Saints’ Sanderstead bid a fond farewell to their Rector

Yesterday I spent a delightful afternoon at All Saints’ Church Hall enjoying the wonderful Afternoon Tea arranged by Sanderstead Parish as they bid a fond farewell to The Rev’d Canon Martin Greenfield and his wife Emma.

Martin and Emma are leaving Sanderstead after 9 busy years and are heading off to Chichester to enjoy a well-earned retirement.

The Tea was delicious and Martin and Emma were clearly thrilled with the speeches, the presentation which was made to them - and the fabulous cake!

Many thanks to everyone involved in putting on such a wonderful afternoon and all good wishes to Martin and Emma for a long, healthy and happy retirement.
