Over the last few weeks I've been working with closely with the Whitgift Residents Association to look at the proposed local plan. The details of this can be found here:

The Residents Association are very concerned about some areas being designated for intensification and I share these concerns. Its so important any housing is in the right strategic location for the borough.
I've written to the council in support of the Residents Association, outlining my concerns, and will be responding to the consultation further in due course.
