Xmas Lights Switch On - Sanderstead Recreation Ground

It was good to have the opportunity to support the community with the Sanderstead lights switch on today.  Despite the council's bankruptcy we were able to fund the lights on the roundabout and the official switch on by Santa in conjunction with the Sanderstead Residents' Association.  The community sang and enjoyed mince pies provided by Rotary and Priscillas.  The lights are on at the Sanderstead shops, Hamsey Green and Elmfield Way.  I hope everyone enjoys the festive season.
