Great work by the Friends of Purley Beeches and The Friends of Wettern Tree Garden today. Much of the woodland broken branches were cleared and the new roses were planted to replace those that had died. It is always good to help the Friends who do so much for our community, particularly at this difficult time when the grounds are not maintained by the council to a sufficient standard. Much of the work has fallen on Friends Groups since the Council's bankruptcy. Do come along and help - all are welcome.
