The Bird Sanctuary part 3

Cllr Margaret Bird and  Nikhil Sherine Thampi joined volunteers this morning for another  clean up of the Bird Sanctuary in the Glade.

The aim is to rid the fence area of ivy, bindweed  and nettles so residents can pass along the pavement without being "attacked"!

A lot was cleared today as can be seen in the photos but we will be having another session on Nov 6th 10-12 noon and hope to complete the job should we have enough volunteers.
