I am pleased to say that the pathway between Lime Meadow Avenue and Blacksmith's Hill has finally been cleared of all the overgrowing shrubs and stinging nettles. A nearby resident in a wheelchair was unable to pass through the route due to the pathway becoming so overgrown. I had continuously emailed the council to get the pathway cleared to the point of the local councillors setting up a time to actually do the work themselves. However, just in the nick of time officers came to undertake the work which was a blessing for all. These pathways are important for not only disabled and frail people to take access a walk in Kings Woods but it also cuts down on the length of time it takes to get to the shops etc. The residents are very grateful that the local councillors were once again able to help them.
