I am pleased to say that finally the soil erosion and wall collapse on Purley Downs Road near the junction of Sanderstead Hill has finally been repaired. After several exchanges of email and discussions with the council the work has been done to retain the soil on the bank and rebuild the wall. The debris and mess was a complete eyesore and when the wall first collapsed it was impossible for wheelchair users and prams to pass on the pavement. I am pleased that the local councillors were able to progress this work. Hopefully we will see it returfed.
