Today the stalwart volunteers joined together to cut back the foliage from the inside of the Bird Sanctuary and litter pick organised by Cllr Margaret Bird
A slow job but everyone got stuck in and what a difference it has made. It is possible to see right into the area in some parts which are more open.
All foliage was left behind to create habitats for the wildlife and a broad path along the fence was cut to enable the volunteers to actually access the area safely.
There is still more to do so 2 more sessions have been arranged October 16th and November 6th, both Saturdays, 10-12am..
