The pavements in Ridge Langley are currently being resurfaced. Weeds are coming through the middle of the pavement in less than a week of the work being undertaken. The material is so soft that tyres are leaving impressions on the surface. One resident said: "It is so poor quality I can put my fingernail through it. I have complained to the council by phone, as there was no option on the dropdown message list. I went through two departments and didn't feel that anyone was listening to me".
I have reported to the council directors the poor quality materials that are bineg used for resurfacing. The pavements are not being dug up and a shallow material which is not very good quality is being spread over the top like jam. This product doesn't seem to even last a week never mind years to come. Certainly not value for money. I hope the matter is addressed.
