Just been informed at short notice that there will be no train service this Sunday morning at any local stations between Gatwick and East Croydon due to a serious fault with the track between Purley and Coulsdon which requires all but one line to be closed. A special single track working will take place allowing one train every 90 minutes to operate from Brighton to London which will call at Gatwick and East Croydon only.
Intending passengers are being advised where possible not to travel
There will also be a very limited bus replacement service due to drivers self-isolating.
If you need to travel to London you are advised to take a TfL local bus to Croydon or you can use the 463 to Wallington
