A couple of years ago residents in blocks of flats contacted us repeatedly about the failure to collect recycling from the recycling bins at blocks of flats throughout the ward
It is now happening again. We have contacted the Council on behalf of residents on a number of blocks recently. In one case residents in a particular block were told that Veolia no longer collected from that address. Who decided on this totally unacceptable action and where is the supervision of the contract?
More and more we are seeing the effects of the bankruptcy of the Labour Council with sadly depleted Council teams struggling to cope and little if any response to residents.
