Last Saturday hours before Pistachios Funday was due to start, their cameras picked up the Council collecting the waste bin that was on the edge of the path out of Grange Park to Coulsdon Road.
This is a bin used by dog walkers leaving the park and disposing of their dog waste.
This has left Pistachios own bins being used instead. Hygienic Croydon?
I sent an urgent message to the director but other than it being passed to the Head of Service no reply has been received.
Today I learnt that the bin by the bus stop outside Dormer Lodge on Coulsdon Road has also "disappeared" and now the residents there are concerned their front garden will once again become the bin.
Who in their right mind would remove rubbish bins unless they wanted our streets to be dirty and full of rubbish?
Well meaning local litter pickers already take their lives into their own hands collecting other peoples discarded rubbish
Come on Croydon keep our area clean...!
