A local resident got in touch with me last night complaining that, despite having contacted the Council using the proper channels, he and his family have been waiting months to have their new bins delivered.
As a father to a newborn, he's understandably concerned that the nappies needed to be stored and disposed of as quickly as possible - as a relatively new dad to one-year old twins myself I can entirely empathise!
Thankfully as a result of my lobbying the Council, today my resident received an apology and an assurance that new bins are on the way in the very near future.
