Croydon Council have confirmed today they are still obtaining quotes for the repair of the railings damaged before lockdown as the quote they had received was excessive.
Originally Cllr Bird was told that the contractor wanted to fix the railings in the pathway rather than in the bank in line with the remaining railings.
No reason was given as to why the long delay but they did promise to update Councillors of the progress and advise us when the works will begin.
