Shirley South Councillors Ward Surgery - Shrublands Estate

Council Surgery

Following on from this week’s tragic events with the murder of a 16-year-old young man at Shrublands, Jason and myself decided to move our surgery to the Shrublands Estate. We felt it was especially important to reach out directly to the residents in the area, during what is of course a very difficult and sad period for the community.

We stood outside the parade of shops and spoke to residents who were very concerned and worried that more of the same would now take place in the estate.

Jason and I have been in close contact with the Police and will continue to do so throughout. 

Our thoughts and condolences are with the young mans Family and Friends, during this very difficult time for them.
