A number of residents have raised issues with the Riddlesdown Residents' Association in respect of tree works being undertaken at 89 Hyde Road. There is uncertainty whether the trees felled are part of the approval given under 10/00108/FUL as once again the planning portal is down. Heavy equipment and chain saws and grinding equipment were used all Saturday afternoon, which surely breaches the Construction Code of Practice and the footways are completely blocked with tree debris making it difficult for pedestrians to safely navigate the pathway. Residents in the area not only have to deal with all the aggravation of these developments but there appears to be a complete disregard for the surrounding vicinity.
