Croydon Best Start Children Centres Consultation

There are just a few hours left to make your submission on the proposal for Croydon's Best Start Children's Centre provision.

The plan is to reduce the provision from 22 sites to 9, leaving a large void in service in the south of the Borough after the ending of provision in Purley Oaks and Sanderstead, together with the closure of Shirley Children's Centre which serves the Shrublands estate.

Attached is my submission, explaining why I do not support the reduction in the service, with specific reference to the service to be lost at Purley Oaks and Shirley.
