In January 2021, I first reported some graffiti on the Higher Drive railway bridge which later became offensive when someone embellished it. I then reported the offensive graffiti using the Council's new online reporting form (because the LoveCleanStreets app doesn't accept graffiti reports any more).
The photo show the final result - a disgraceful mess. The non-offensive graffiti has been left untouched and will presumably stay there till the bridge is repainted in maybe 10 years while the offensive graffiti has been daubed over. In days gone by (actually only six months ago), the daubing would itself have been regarded as graffiti and would have been removed within 48 hrs by the ever-resourceful Environmental Response team (ERT). Sadly they were all made redundant last year as part of Labour's response to their self-generated financial crisis... and we'll all be paying the bills for years to come.
