Update on the Traffic lights on Brighton Rd Coulsdon causing tailbacks.
SGN are having engineering difficulties, hence the delay and I have received this update from Croydon Council
"We are meeting with the Council this week onsite , to work out how we can move the cable to allow the encapsulation to go ahead we have been rechecking the site daily and have a TM operative onsite manning the lights, following the excavation we have a possible second leak on the 12” main crossing the road as since we have excavated a further survey has picked up readings, this may go once we complete the encapsulation as I’m hoping that the readings are tracking along the main and the readings will be gone when its done but worst case is we will have to reinstate and move to the other side of the road.
