A couple of residents have enquired over the processing of applications for extensions, etc. I guess now the warmer weather is upon us residents are anxious to prepare their builders for work. Unfortunately, there has been some slippage in relation to the 8 week time frame. Due to the financial situation at the council there has been a knock-on effect in the planning department with a number of staff leaving the department. I hope that the staffing shortages are resolved soon.
