Strong refusal reasons for block of flats for 8 High Beech

Residents were delighted to hear that the Council had refused permission for a block of flats at 8 High Beech. This would have replaced a family home whose garden bordered SSSI Croham Hurst Woods

I had objected and referred to Planning Committee as I had rarely seen such an inappropriate planning application 

i am really pleased to see 12 strong refusal reasons from the Council.

These included scale, massing and bulk, negative impact on neighbours and character of the area, lack of amenity space, parking and much more.

Sadly another application may well come forward
