There are still problems with construction vehicles at the building site in The Woodfield. Vehicles offloading materials and other contractors are constantly blocking the pavement and partially the road on a number of occasions making it difficult for the school run and residents to access their homes and leave their driveways safely. HGVs have no hard surfacing for the access so all HGV going into the site take the mud down the road and pavement. There is much they can do. A responsible contractor could do much better to alleviate the pressure on residents whilst this development progresses. Enforcement at the council have been informed. Let's see what action they take! Hopefully the developer will ensure everyone acts responsibly and ensures safety.
