Many residents have complained about missed bin collections. The Council is attributing this shortage of HGV drivers.
Contingency plans have been implemented and resources are being closely monitored to ensure services continue to be delivered.
Residents can check if their area is affected on the council website, which is updated daily and if their bins are not collected on their scheduled day, they will be able to find out when we intend to return on My Account. We are asking residents to please leave their bins out and our contractor, Veolia, will collect them. There is no need to log a missed collection on My Account unless the new date has passed.
