I am pleased to say that the application to have a play street in Westfield Avenue for 15 August in the afternoon has finally been approved. Residents and of course children were concerned that the event might not take place so I was pleased to help move the process along and liaise with the Council to ensure everyone could have a good time. This is the first time that the residents of Westfield Avenue have been able to have a play street event since lock-down.
