SES Water are working on an emergency water leak in Limpsfield Road, near the junction with Wentworth Way, and will be controlling vehicles with temporary signals. To minimise delays on the highway the lights will be manually controlled between 7.30am and 9.30am and again between 14.30pm and 18.30pm. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 17th September.
Sadly cars are experiencing long delays on their return journey from Sanderstead to Warlingham for most of the length of the Limpsfield Road from Wentworth Way to Sanderstead roundabout. I have gone back to SES water to explain the problem and hope that it can be resolved. It is only two days to go before the work is to be completed but I do hope that the lights can be better managed. It must be taking motorists a considerable length of time to return home after a hard day at work.
