Great work today from the Croydon Council graffiti removal team.
A rash of offensive spray-paint graffiti appeared in Addington Village on walls and street signs. It was reported to me but before I could even report it to the Council the graffiti team had arrived to clean it up. A local resident had already reported the incidents and the team were on it immediately. That's great work and good news.
The bad news is that like many other Council services it is under threat. Staff are already going through the redundancy process.
Labour's incompetence has consequences. Residents are the ones who will suffer.
