I today attended the ‘Building Community Partnerships’ covering Coulsdon and Purley which was arranged as part of the One Croydon Training Programme.
The meeting is summarised by the Council as:
In line with Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) and community-led, strengths-based best practice, the event used coproduction as a way of initiating and shaping the community foundations of One Croydon's Local Voluntary Partnership in Purley, Coulsdon and Old Coulsdon. It will be an opportunity to:
- Celebrate and share knowledge about what’s working well
- Identify and discuss challenges
- Make and strengthen connections
- Explore partnership working with Croydon’s Integrated Community Network+ (ICN+)
It was a great opportunity to hear from local VCS organisations about what they do, how things currently are and to get to know each other.
