In London, and particularly in Croydon, vaccination rates in children are lower than needed. Due to COVID-19, vaccination rates have dropped even lower. This puts un-vaccinated children at greater risk (remember some vulnerable children and adults cannot be vaccinated) and increases the likelihood of an outbreak in the wider population.
Before your child begins school, it is therefore really important that their vaccinations are up to date. This will protect both them and others from several contagious and potentially serious diseases.
