Following a court summons, the travellers at Higher Drive moved on Wednesday night/Thursday morning.
Council staff have completed a clean-up of the main field and playground. There are 2 flytips left on the Sherwood Oaks side of the park, as well as in the bushes by Higher Drive. These will be removed soon. Security measures to prevent unauthorised access will be implemented very soon.
I completed a litter pick this afternoon and with the exceptions noted above, believe the park to be clear.
