The Council's Trading Standards department regularly publishes bulletins giving details of the most common scams afflicting the borough. The latest has just been published, and it's full of interesting items on Energy & Online scams, Crypto scams, ACTION FRAUD, Whatsapp impersonation scams, and much else.
Reading these articles can give you the feeling that everyone is out to get you (and a few people are!), but by taking sensible precautions such as are outlined in the articles, your chances of falling victim to criminals are much reduced.
