The Police have launched a pilot online tool for reporting non-crime concerns relating to personal safety.
The pilot is one of a range of actions being taken by Police across the UK to tackle violence against women and girls in the wake of the murders of women like Sarah Everard and Sabina Nessa.
StreetSafe is a pilot service for anyone to anonymously tell Police about public places where they have felt or feel unsafe, because of environmental issues, eg street lighting, abandoned buildings or vandalism and/or because of some behaviours, eg being followed or verbally abused.

The information collected will help build local intelligence and be used by police to work with local authorities and other stakeholders to improve community safety and take more strategic action, including designing out crime.
Please note: 'StreetSafe' is not for reporting crime or incidents.
If a crime is being committed people should dial 101 or 999.
