Recently Cllr Kolade and I spent an evening knocking on doors to talk to residents in Oaklands. Oaklands is a lovely estate nestled between Hayes Lane and Park Road. We picked up several items of case work which are progressing through housing repairs.
One swift improvement has been a spruce up of the garages which had definitely seen better days. Paint was peeling and they were becoming an increasingly attractive spot for graffiti. The team at the council has made the necessary repairs leaving the garages looking like new. We’ve received several emails from residents who wished to pass on their thanks.
