I'm acutely aware of the traffic chaos caused by extensive roadworks near Purley Hospital least month, and I'm very sorry to report that more are just starting, this time to repair a gas leak in the main road. The temporary lights will be manually controlled during rush hour and they are scheduled to be completed by 25th September.. I sincerely hope that that target is achieved...
