From tomorrow, 19th October – 15th January, Selsdon Road will be closed between its junctions with Chelsham Road and the southern end of Sussex Road. This is to facilitate bridge replacement and enabling works. The 2 signed diversions will take vehicles along Brighton Road into town or along Addington Road all the way to Gravel Hill and up Coombe Road. Drivers are asked not to use Sussex Road as this will hinder bus traffic; the 412 and 403 buses will operate as normal.
More extensive closures will occur over the Christmas period (as it did for the bridge on Sanderstead Road) and I will share this information when I have it.
