After the great success of our first Christmas Market last year, we had hoped that 2020 would be an even bigger and more successful event.
We held on for as long as we could before now, reluctantly, deciding to cancel this year's market. We had hoped that there might be some way that it could still happen but with the increase in infections and the need to commit to a lot of work and money if we were to run a successful market, the risk was just too high that it would all come to naught.
We hope to be back in 2021 with a Christmas Market, and as soon as things look like they are getting permanently back to something like normal we will look at perhaps running a market at a different time of the year. Happily the Selsdon Residents Association will still be bringing us the Christmas lights, so some good news.
