Sanderstead Safer Neighbourhood Police Meeting

I attended the Sanderstead Local Police Team Meeting tonight. My thanks to PC Rebecca Grabauskas for all she has done in the area and I wish her well in her new role in Dorset.  A warm welcome to her replacement PC Sophie Gustar - I look forward to talking to her about local issues and priorities. Whilst burglaries are relatively low some of the shops on Sanderstead parade have been a target.  Shutters are a useful deterrent and sadly have become necessary to keep criminals at bay.  There are still a few motor vehicle crimes and of course we have seen a return in catalytic converter thefts.  My thanks to our police team for all they are doing.
