Once again residents are experiencing significant problems with the refuse and recycling collections on Sanderstead Road and in Rectory Park. Some residents haven't had collections since the 10th of December despite repeat contact with the council and reporting online. Whilst we understand that there are shortages in lorry drivers refuse is piling up at properties and residents are naturally concerned that they are unable to store their refuse for over 25 days safely and neatly without it spilling out onto the streets and foxes tearing at the bags. This length of time is certainly not acceptable.
