Sanderstead / Riddlesdown Litter Pick

The Sanderstead Councillors had a great time at yesterday's litter pick organised by Riddlesdown Residents Association. 

We've been attending these litter picks for some years now and in my opinion, we're having to walk further to collect the same amount of rubbish - or our legs are getting older!

We do always seem to find some rather random items though and Phil from RRA even managed to find a dumped wheelie bin which made transporting some of the items back to the meeting points somewhat easier.

We did find a dead animal too which has been reported to council officers to be collected separately.

It was also good to be joined by council candidates Alasdair Stewart and Michael Norman.
