We all had fun at the Sanderstead Community Day on Saturday. Many local businesses and groups along with the Sanderstead councillors and the Sanderstead Residents Association financially supported this long established event. The dog show is always popular and you can see us with one of the first prize winners in the photograph - what a star. Wonderful crafts, arts, music and dancing were the order of the day. We were also very lucky with the weather. Our newly selected ward colleague Cllr Helen Redfern (currently a councillor for Purley Oaks and Riddlesdown) also joined us. As a Sanderstead resident she has been attending many local events with her family and children. Our thanks to Mandy and Tim and all concerned for making this such a successful event.
