Croydon has the opportunity to put together a bid to the Safer Streets Fund from the Home Office. The fund will focus on safety in public places for women and girls. In response to this, we have put together the below questionnaire for women and girls living and working in Croydon to complete. This questionnaire will support our bid by showing us why women feel unsafe in Croydon, where and what they think would make them feel safer. The more innovative the idea, the better. This is a fantastic opportunity for Croydon to ensure women and girls feel safer during anytime of the day and night, whether it’s waiting for a bus or shopping in the town centre. Please can I ask that you complete the questionnaire and also share amongst your staff, networks, friends and families. We want to hear from all types of women and girls to ensure we get a wide perspective allowing us to put together a bid which reflects our boroughs diverse communities.
