It's been great over recent weeks to see that the rail tunnel works have been completed and that the machinery and containers have now been removed from Riddlesdown Common and the car park.
The stepped pathway that goes over the railway tunnel and down to Godstone Road is much improved, hopefully making the area more accessible and the route for some of the Collegiate school children a bit easier and less muddy.
There is an area of land at the top that has been left bare which was previously grassed. This will not be reseeded as this could cause non-local vegetation to be introduced but it is hoped that the grass will find its way back naturally over time.
