Residents outrage at another planning application to demolish yet another family house and replace with a block of flats is now very clear. If you walk down Hurst Way or Harewood road so many residents have posters objecting to the application at 29 Harewood rd. We have all seen with increasing concern the intensification policies of the current Administration of the Council and the impact granted applications have on the character of our local area the loss of gardens with their mature trees and wildlife and the parking stresses and much much more.
As Ward Councillor I have objected and referred this application to Planning Committee. However since 2014 along with so many residents I have been left frustrated and angry as application after application has been granted as the current Administration have the majority on Planning Committee as well as all committees of the Council.
