After a long fight the residents group formed to fight a block of flats replacing a family home at 56 West Hill finally lost in the High Court. The protection from covenants was disappointingly rejected. Great credit to this group of residents who used their energy, their various areas of professional expertise and dug deep in their pockets to try to stop this inappropriate development.
We now see a large block of flats, towering over Sandhurst Way crammed into this site.
Completely out of character it is another example of Labour’s legacy in our ward of South Croydon
