Purley Downs Road traffic lights

Yet again there are traffic lights on Purley Downs Road. This is for further gas work as at least one home has problems with its gas supply. The traffic lights will be in place until 6 May.

This morning I was sat at the lights for a very long time until drivers decided it wasn't going to go green and then there was a free for all. This happened last time, and attempts to persuade the workmen to adjust the lights were ignored for some days. I have been able to speak to a helpful Council officer who has had a word with SGN and asked they ensure that the 4-way lights go green in all 4 directions - but not at the same time!!
